The Peninsula Scottish Fiddlers perform traditional Scottish music at festivals and cultural events around the Bay Area.

Led by Scottish fiddler, Colin Gordon, the musicians play as much for their own enjoyment as for the audience. An infectious sense of fun pervades the music and it's always a treat to spend an evening listening to the Peninsula Scottish Fiddle Club.

The traditional tunes in their repertoire have endured through many generations and continue to delight us today.

Drawing on the talents of professional musicians and enthusiastic novices, the club meets regularly to delve into the world of Scottish jigs and reels, strathpeys, and lovely slow airs. Their genuine love of the music brings out the warmth and zest of the music.

In September 2000, the Peninsula Scottish Fiddlers tour Scotland, presenting a mix of Scottish, Irish, Welsh, and American tunes for listening, dancing, sighing, rejoicing, and singing!

A special "warm up" concert was given to the community of Felton, California on April 29th in the beautiful Felton Community Center.

You can enjoy some of the same music (courtesy of Cris Martin) in mp3 format.
